Katelyn and Matt’s wedding at The Somerset Inn in Troy was one of the last weddings of an amazing 2013 season! Not only are they both very cool, relaxed people but we had the fun of getting to know them while we planned and designed the decor for their beautiful winter event!
The ceremony took place in Birmingham and the reception at the Somerset Inn in Troy. Their guests were first greeted by a beautifully trimmed silver tree in crystals on the escort card table. Classic white hydrangea topiaries glittered in silver shimmer set on top of beautiful trumpet vases filled with flocked branches and faux snow really clutched the "winter wonderland" theme they were going for! The clean flowers in shades of white with accents of winter worked well with both venues as well as the bridesmaid’s adorable dresses. Details such as their homemade mercury glass wine bottle table numbers really brought personal details into the space! We finished off the place settings with silver ribbon taffeta sequin table cloths, rhinestone trimmed silver charger plates, silver satin napkins neatly secured in a rhinestone napkin slide and of course, the ever-so-classic silver chiavari chairs. The Pièce de résistance of the reception was the beautiful back drop finished with gorgeous chandeliers and the jaw dropping dance floor drapery all set a glow with beautiful theatrical up-lighting in plum which adds just the right amount of drama.
Congratulations to a fabulous couple and thank you for letting us take part in your day!
