I had the honor of working with Emily and Mac to design every floral detail of their charming wedding at The Colony Club in Detroit! This couple is truly beautiful inside and out and I’m elated to share a few of their gorgeous photos thanks to Hillebrand Photography. For herself and her ‘maids, Emily chose pure white bouquets with subtle hues of ivory, champagne and blush. Using a combination of roses, mums and hydrangeas, we designed a stunning bouquet that stood out beautifully against the bridesmaid’s luscious amethyst gowns. Emily's bouquet is still a favorite memory of mine... Emily brought in her late Mother's wedding veil from her wedding to Emily's Father. Emily asked me to take some beautiful beading and material from the veil and incorporate it into her bouquet. It was a true honor to do so and it added such a sweet and personal touch to her bouquet. The reception took place in the 3rd floor ballroom of the Colony Club in Detroit. We used the ceiling height of The Colony Club's Grand Ballroom to our advantage when creating these intimate dome style centerpieces. I’m completely enamored by how lovely they turned out, especially how well they complemented the warm up-lighting. For the guest tables, we used a beautiful organza embroidered ivory overlay in a paisley design and finished the place settings with antiqued gold charger plates. There’s nothing I love more than making a couple’s vision come to life. Congratulations to you guys Emily and Mac, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your Big Day!
