Whitney was a very involved bride with the design aspects of her flowers. I had a great time planning all the details with her down to the elusive “Anemones in October”!! We got them in and she was thrilled! I think they really added that “pop” to her floral she was hoping for. Keeping in step with the classic 2013 trend of a white, ivory and blush color palette, we created a floral recipe of mini calla lilies, hydrangeas, dendrobium orchids, anemones, roses, astible, hypericum, ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, stock and lemon leaves. We set the tone for the “elegant garden” theme of the ceremony with tall wrought iron garden stands in gold with lush topiaries a top. We traced the elegant aisle with a mixture of romantic white, ivory & blush rose petals. Their ceremony arch of branches, dendrobium orchids and hydrangeas graced the dramatic window of the Colony Club and commanded attention as the main focal point of the ceremony. After the ceremony was over, the arch was a romantic back drop to the sweet heart table for the bride and groom. The guest tables were draped in beautiful ivory organza overlays elegantly graced with a champagne roman scroll design. We finished the gorgeous table settings with antique gold charger plates. The sweet heart table and the cake table were dramatically draped in our champagne bordeaux tablecloths. The pièce de résistance of the event, my favorite art of the design, was the KIDS TABLE! I designed a table that we covered in butcher paper so the kids could color it. We supplied all kinds of Halloween themed crafts, coloring supplies and candy which kept the kids VERY entertained and away from the wedding cake! The end result was a really romantic, fun-loving and elegant event! It was a lot of fun being a part of your planning, congratulations Whitney & Craig!
