Kelly & Michael were a blast to plan with! They wanted a truly genuine fall themed floral palette. It was a breath of fresh air! A break from the monotonous blush and cream that was the driving force of the 2014 bridal season. Fall is my favorite time of year so it was a great treat to help them design their event. With the beautiful details of the 1929 Ballroom of the Colony Club as our back drop, we decided to use ivory lace overlays with gold embroidering on the tables to add a touch of elegance and sparkle. The centerpieces sat perched atop antique gold garden stands on half the guest tables alongside dramatic and full dome style arrangements in a footed bowl on the other tables. The arrangements were made of Green Antiqued Hydrangeas, Burgundy, Yellow & Orange Alstromeria, Circus & Black Magic Roses, Dyed Oak Leaves, Orange Gerbera Daisies and Mango Mini Calla Lilies with graceful collars of seeded eucalyptus. The stems of the bouquets and boutonnieres were wrapped in antique gold satin ribbon. My favorite part of the bouquets was the bridesmaid’s dresses! I think the colors that Kelly pulled together really set the flowers popping! Finally, Kelly looked so stunning and elegant in her gown. It was the perfect warm shade of ivory which made her skin look flawless. She wore her gown well and was really a vision! I love when I get clients that feel like friends when we meet…Michael and Kelly were definitely a couple of those clients. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special event!
