Nicole was a bride who wanted to break out of the "typically wedding flowers" mold. She was inspired by the Diego Rivera mural painted in the Diego Rivera Room at the Detroit Institute of Arts. She chose various compilations of White Calla Lilies and contrasting garden greens in various textures. We used three different styles of centerpieces which gave the Great Hall a lot of texture. We had modern Manzanita Branches, White Calla Lilies, Moss accents, White Garden Roses and Palm Frons. We designed a monochromatic look of black spandex chair covers with Black Rosette floor length linens to make the floral pop! I had a lot of fun designing this event and of course doing floral we have never done before. I loved the fact Nicole really trusted me and trusted me to translate her inspirations into the decor of her dreams. I am honored. I am so thrilled they were so happy with the outcome of our design. Thank you Nicole & Shane for allowing us to be a part of your special day!
